Wi-Fi High speed fibre optic cable with wifi connection is available throughout the house.

Transport to Camont

The TGV (high speed train) from Gare Paris Montparnasse to Gare d’Agen direct train runs several times a day and is just a little over 3 hours. Bordeaux and Toulouse by train is 1.5 hour to Agen.

Connections to Toulouse-Blagnac and Bordeaux-Merignac International airports are available from most European hubs; both airports are 1.5 hours from Agen.

Shopping

Food shopping and other essentials (pharmacy, press/tabac, etc) are available in nearby villages (just 2 kilometers away). There is weekly shopping at the local farmer’s markets year round, once or twice a week, as needed.

Agen (pop. 45,000) has a viable downtown shopping district with boutiques, cafes, museums, and other historical sites. There is a local bus that runs into Agen several times a day from the main road- a 15-minute walk from Camont.

Bicycle Rental- Both e-bikes and standard bicycles are available for rent through a local company that delivers to and picks up from Camont.

Weather

Gascony is a true four seasons climate with mild wet Winters (cold but rarely any snow), long fragrant Springs, hot sunny Summers, and beautiful Autumns. We are open most of the year and welcome longer stays from November through March.

Bringing a partner is not encouraged unless both partners are working residents and will each have a private studio space.

Pets- No pets are allowed. We have an in-house guardian, our Spanish Water Dog-Chica.
